Born in Montreal, Charles Carson created a fascinating technique that has come to be known as ''carsonism'' Carson is not only a creative genius; above all else, he is a lover of nature and a great defender of the environment. He reproduces nature with unrestrained imagination. His is a very personal vision. He interprets and sublimates his models, suffusing them with light and colour so that they appear multidimensional. Sounds and colours blend subtly in his work; and the universe, from the depths of sea to the firmament, appears in its many seductive aspects.
