Born in Montreal, he made a number of travel studies between 1976 and 1990 to Europe, Asia, South America and United States and in the process developed a very colourful personal style which combines abstract and figurative elements in a unique, colourful and lyrical way. In his paintings he recalls his visits to various lively centres around the world. A solo show of his work was held at the Centre culture et communautaire Henri Lemieux, Lasalle, Québec in October, 1993 and was opened by author and art historian, Guy Robert.
